Children's Privacy Notice
Learning Line is designed for homeschool families and is controlled by parents. This notice explains what may be connected to a child profile and how parents stay in control.
Last updated: September 18, 2026
1. What a parent may add
A parent may create a child profile with a first name and grade level. The profile may be associated with assessment responses, working-level estimates, skill states, check-in history, confirmed curriculum topics, and parent-controlled support preferences such as read-aloud consent.
Learning Line does not need a child's full name, date of birth, home address, precise location, photo, voice recording, medical information, diagnosis, or freeform journal to provide its core assessment experience.
2. Why we use child-related information
- To show the right child's assessment and dashboard to the authorized parent.
- To adapt assessment items and check-in composition.
- To show the child's own growth and skill history to the parent.
- To support parent-approved planning and retention review.
- To provide requested read-aloud or audio support.
- To keep the service secure and reliable.
3. No child account and no child advertising profile
Children do not have independent logins. Parent ownership is checked before child, assessment, check-in, preference, or report data is returned or changed.
Learning Line is not designed to build advertising profiles, rank children against one another, sell child information, or use child learning history for unrelated model training.
4. Parent-provided notes and photos
A parent may optionally describe recent learning or provide a worksheet photo so Learning Line can suggest curriculum topics. These inputs are temporary processing sources. The durable plan keeps confirmed topic and skill matches, not the original note or image.
Parents should not include sensitive information about a child or family in a note or image. Parents review, remove, and correct topic suggestions before a check-in is created.
5. Limited AI processing
For topic matching, Venice receives the limited context needed to match a parent's note or photo to approved topic keys. It is not used to diagnose a child, determine a medical or disability status, score an assessment, or create hidden child-facing questions.
Learning Line is designed not to send child names, household identifiers, assessment history, prior answers, or parent preference data for topic matching. The AI result must be reviewed by the parent before it affects a plan.
Ride-Along, narration, and offline practice
Parents may ask Venice to draft a Ride-Along course from an academic topic. We do not attach child profiles or assessment records. Parents review and approve drafts before playback. Approved lesson text and shared academic text can be sent to the audio provider for synthetic narration; this does not record the child’s voice.
A household voice choice changes narration, not scoring. Downloaded practice packs contain academic content and audio, not child profiles or assessment records. Anyone using that browser can access the packs while signed out; remove downloads on shared devices when finished.
6. Parent choices
Parents can review and correct child profile information, choose whether to use optional audio support, remove suggested topics, and request access to, correction of, or deletion of household and child information by emailing Rational Pursuits LLC at support@learningline.xyz.
Parents should contact us promptly if they believe a child has provided information directly or if they want to review or delete a child profile.
7. Contact
